Longterm goal is to open a sober living home that will help parolees to transition from institution living to community living in a healthy Christian based environment.
This will include meetings to help with substances abuse, anger management, family reunifications, support groups tailored specifically to the challenges former inmates and their families face.
For the inmates who choose to participate in CycleBreakers from behind the walls their families will also be able to participate and have access to classes and groups that will help them navigate through feelings and challenges of having a family member incarcerated.
CycleBreakers is committed to continuing to offer resources, classes and groups to help give both the former inmate and their family members the best opportunities to break the cycles in their lives and lead a healthy life.
CycleBreakers will develop and provide as well as partner with other existing programs and resources to help participants to transition in all areas of their lives.
Once a CycleBreaker always a CycleBreaker! As long as they are a willing participant and abide by the bylaws of the program participants and their families will always be considered a CycleBreaker; they will always be welcomed.
Participants will have an opportunity to become a mentor for CycleBreakers after completing their personal program. When they have been released from parole for at least six months and have completed the training for becoming a CycleBreakers Mentor.
